Gavin Lautenbach has been guiding for the past 15 years, mostly at small private camps in South Africa, and has led specialist photographic safaris, walking safaris and birding safaris within the reserves where he has worked, as well as reserves in many other countries. He takes specialist birding and mammal trips through South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Malaysia and Borneo. He has also been involved in the training of guides for many years. A passionate naturalist and conservationist, Gavin’s interests include birds, cats and tracking. He really enjoys photography and helping people capture the moment.
