Andrea Adame Fernandez2022
Andrea Adame's first job as a naturalist guide was in Baja California Sur, leading adventures to see gray whales, sea turtles, sea lions and whale sharks. She has been lucky to lead trips in many places, from Cozumel to Greece. Over the years, she has prioritized working with operators that keep conservation and sustainability front of mind and enjoys helping travelers foster their love of nature. Whether it be snorkeling, scuba diving or watching whales from a boat, these experiences allow travelers to get closer to wildlife and deepen their connection to the environment. In 2022, Andrea Adame became a Nat Hab Expedition Leader in Baja, leading adventures to see gray whales in San Ignacio Lagoon. When not out on a boat, you can usually find her home taking care of her many plants, reading a good book and relaxing with her two cats.

What Our Guests Say
Andrea was an excellent Expedition Leader. She was happy, bubbly and energetic, as well as friendly, kind, knowledgeable and strong as a leader. Andrea made the trip fun for us and tried her best to accommodate everyone's needs and make our trip effortless. I cannot say enough good things about her. I could tell that she loved the whales and was excited to share that love with everyone there.
Andrea did an incredible job as an Expedition Leader. She was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the wildlife we encountered on the trip. I especially appreciated her taking the time to point out unique birds and bird behaviors to me on the mangrove walk, as she knew that I had an interest in the birds in the area. I think this is one of the the things that puts guides that I've had on Nat Hab trips apart from guides from some other companies; Andrea listened to and took the time to learn about each guest and their interests and then did whatever she could to maximize the guests' enjoyment of the trip by tailoring parts of the trip to those interests where possible. I can't say enough good things about Andrea!
Best guide ever! I was especially impressed by how she managed the variable conditions of sea and wind to give us the best experience possible. She also was great with the interaction of people and whales. She spotted them unerringly, called to them, and they came!
