Ethan Browne2021
Ethan is a professional wilderness guide from Vancouver, British Columbia. Living on the west coast of Canada in the shadow of the mountains, beside the sea, has left an indelible imprint on him. From remote sailing expeditions along the coast of BC's Great Bear Rainforest to exploring the icy reaches of the High Arctic, Ethan’s work has taken him to some of the last true wilderness areas on the planet. Among the destinations on his adventure resume are Antarctica, South Georgia, Svalbard and East Greenland. In all these places—at the fringe of ice, rock, and sea—Ethan feels most at home. When Ethan isn't guiding expeditions far afield, you'll find him on the west coast of Vancouver Island where he spends part of the year as a captain on whale-watching excursions on Clayoquot Sound. Ethan is enthused to be part of Nat Hab's polar bear team in Churchill, Manitoba, where he loves to share his passion for the natural world with our guests.
