Lindsey was born and raised in Manitoba, where she grew up immersed in the boreal forest, surrounded by wildlife and the countless bodies of water of the Canadian Shield. As a child, she was always outside—catching frogs, lying in moss and spying on critters. Her endless exploration left her with perpetually dirty knees and twigs in her hair, fostering an early and lasting love for the outdoors.
She pursued her creative interests, earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Manitoba in 2016. After working as a graphic designer, she felt drawn back to nature and reshaped her career to reflect her passion for wildlife, travel and the outdoors. Seeking adventure, she embraced a seasonal lifestyle, taking on jobs that kept her outside: reforestation, heliskiing, yachting, backpacking and whale watching became her new normal.
Her work as a guide and naturalist has taken her across the globe, from the fjords of Northern Iceland and Greenland to the Antarctic Peninsula, Svalbard and the Canadian tundra. A dedicated citizen scientist and conservationist, she loves sharing her knowledge and enthusiasm for the natural world.
Now based in Nova Scotia, Lindsey remains passionate about indigenous culture, remote communities, and artistic expression. She continues to explore, inspired by the wild corners of the world.
