Marjorie Loyer
Marjorie Loyer
Marjorie grew up surrounded by the stark beauty of the Atacama Desert, where she developed a deep love for the natural world. That passion eventually led her south to Patagonia, where she now spends her days exploring the wild landscapes of Ultima Esperanza province. With years of field experience, she’s not just a guide—she’s an adventurer, storyteller and conservation advocate.
Marjorie has traveled the world, immersing herself in different ecosystems and cultures, but Patagonia remains home. She believes tourism can be a force for good, helping protect wild places while supporting local communities. Whether leading an expedition or working on conservation projects, she’s devoted to fostering a deeper connection between people and nature. She’s especially passionate about educating travelers on Patagonia’s fragile ecosystems, sharing insights on the region’s wildlife, geology and Indigenous history to create a richer, more meaningful experience.
Working for Nat Hab lets Marjorie combine her love for adventure with her passion for sharing Patagonia’s magic. When she’s not guiding, she’s farming, caring for animals or getting outside. She enjoys trail running, kayaking and volunteering with local conservation groups.
