Daniel Clarke
Daniel Clarke
Born in landlocked London, Ontario, Dan eagerly relocated to British Columbia following his graduation from the University of Toronto with an honors bachelor's degree in zoology. More than a decade later, he rarely strays far from any ocean in his work as a sea captain and naturalist in the Salish Sea and Antarctica. While the Pacific Northwest is his home base, his wildlife expeditions regularly have him navigating the globe for more than six months a year for personal and professional projects. Dan has dedicated his professional career to working with marine mammals and seabirds living in open ocean and remote coastal environments. His drive to witness astonishing wildlife moments has taken him to more than 60 countries on all seven continents. He is excited to create more memorable nature experiences for travelers as a Nat Hab Expedition Leader in Canada's magnificent North. When Dan isn't peering at wildlife through binoculars aboard an expedition ship or an African safari jeep, you can find him practicing hand-balancing acrobatics, scuba diving, sea kayaking and hiking mountain peaks.
