Mack grew up just outside Omaha, Nebraska, where he spent his childhood exploring the outdoors—riding bikes to the pool, skateboarding and playing baseball in the summers, while building snow forts and sledding in the winters. When not outside, he was sketching animals, maps, airplanes and whatever new interest captured his imagination. These early passions shaped Mack into who he is today: a graphic designer, illustrator and outdoor enthusiast.

Mack’s design career began at small-town newspapers in Colorado, where the mountain lifestyle and love of the outdoors played a big role in his personal and professional growth. His journey led him into the Outdoor Retail industry, where he worked with renowned companies like Big Agnes and Kelty. Along the way, Mack embraced every opportunity to connect with nature, working in gear shops and camps across Colorado and British Columbia while building his career.

An avid adventurer, some of Mack’s highlights include trekking through Austria, bikepacking in Vermont and snowboarding in Alaska and Wyoming. His love for wildlife and nature fuels his curiosity about new places, with South America—especially Peru, the Galapagos and Patagonia—high on his list. Mack finds joy in observing sea mammals, bears and birds of prey, particularly ospreys. Now, as a part of Nat Hab, Mack combines his design expertise and passion for the natural world, sharing his love for the outdoors and wildlife with others.
