Ritika was born on September 13, 1980, in Amritsar, home to the famed Golden Temple. From a young age, she exhibited a keen curiosity about her environment and a deep sensitivity to nature, which nurtured her love for the natural world. At the age of five, she entered her first All-India Painting Competition. Not only was her painting exhibited, but she also received an award for her work. Another significant achievement came at 23 when she was awarded a gold medal for her master's degree in painting at BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar, Punjab. Ritika has since pursued her passion for painting as a professional career. An ardent nature lover who loves exploring new places, Ritika stumbled across Nat Hab and was inspired by the friendly work environment and their mission of conservation through exploration. She joined the Nat Hab team as a Travel Desk Concierge in 2024. In her free time, she enjoys baking, crafting and acting. She is an avid learner and has traveled through the Himalayas, with many more travel destinations on her bucket list. The essence of her spirit is best captured by the words of William Wordsworth:
“I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly.”
