Helene grew up in Michigan where summers meant biking and camping in forests near lakes and streams, and winters meant skiing up north. These experiences instilled within her a deep love of nature and the outdoors. She followed this passion through a degree in Environmental Science at the University of Michigan and immediately set out for the mountains of Colorado after graduation. Helene loves exploring the outdoors and sharing her love of the natural world with her husband and four children. Some of her favorite adventures include camping in Yellowstone, whale watching off Cape Cod, snorkeling with sea turtles in the Pacific Ocean, and watching the sunrise from the top of a volcano. When she isn't hard at work for Nat Hab, you'll typically find her hiking, reading or hanging out with her family and her dog Sadie.
