Hayley OswaldAdventure Director - Asia & Latin America
Hayley was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. She was fortunate to be able to explore the Rockies as her backyard, and her days were not complete without a daily dose of Steve Irwin's or Jeff Corwin's wildlife TV series. She fell in love with nature through this lens, fueling big dreams at a young age of the worldwide wonders out there to see. Attending sea camp in San Diego solidified her desire to dedicate her life to environmental ambassadorship. Hayley earned a bachelor's degree in natural resources recreation and tourism with a concentration in environmental communication at Colorado State University in Fort Collins.
After graduating in 2016, Hayley began an internship with a farm-to-table community event company before moving back to Denver to start her career in the travel industry. While planning luxury group experiences across the globe, she continued collecting passport stamps and deepening her love of learning about new cultures, visiting natural landscapes and gaining unforgettable experiences. Work trips to the Galapagos Islands and Antarctica cemented her dedication to pursuing a career that combines her two strongest passions—nature conservation and travel. Feeling like all roads led her to her current post, she joined Natural Habitat Adventures in 2023 as an Adventure Manager for Asia & Latin America.
Hayley's first international trip was leading a group tour in Paris. After the incredible joy of that experience, Hayley worked in the field as much as possible, visiting the Netherlands, Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Hungary, Slovakia, Malta, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Mexico and Costa Rica. Out of all her travels, the destination that holds Hayley's heart is Zermatt, Switzerland—there is nothing more beautiful than hiking through the Alps in summer.
Hayley lives in Denver and enjoys live music, cooking, wine and hiking in her free time. Her world revolves around her Australian shepherd, Atlas, and three cats.
