Camryn ChetyrbukField Operations Coordinator
Camryn was born and raised in Dauphin, Manitoba, nestled near the edge of Riding Mountain National Park. Growing up surrounded by the park’s natural beauty, she developed an early love for wildlife and the outdoors. Her connection to nature deepened during her high school years, when she worked in the park, leading kids' programs and guiding field trips.
After graduating with a diploma in Environmental Technologies—Land and Water Management from Assiniboine College in 2019, Camryn took her environmental knowledge abroad to New Zealand. There, she spent nine months testing soil moisture on farms across the South Island. But the COVID-19 pandemic sent her home to Canada in 2020, and she resumed her work with Parks Canada as a Heritage Presenter, a role like that of an American park ranger.
In 2021, Camryn took a leap of faith and accepted a position with Natural Habitat Adventures as a Field Operations Specialist in Churchill, Manitoba. The rugged landscape and dynamic work have kept her coming back ever since. Today, she splits her time between Churchill and Dauphin, overseeing field operations for Nat Hab’s polar bear, northern lights and Churchill adventures. Camryn’s role ensures that every aspect of the trips runs smoothly, from logistics to guest experiences.
Outside of work, Camryn loves to explore the prairies of Manitoba. Her love for adventure has given rise to hobbies like fat biking, snowshoeing, paddleboarding and spending time with her dogs. Though she’s traveled across Europe and Canada, Camryn’s heart remains in Riding Mountain, her favorite place on earth.
