Greg CourterSenior Adventure Specialist
Greg grew up in the Mad River Valley in central Vermont where it’s nearly impossible to step outside without developing a profound appreciation for the outdoors. After graduating from the University of Vermont he plunged into the corporate world in Boston, and seven years later he was shedding the suit and tie for the fresh air and outdoorsy lifestyle of Colorado.
Greg started at Natural Habitat in 1996 and over the years has been lucky enough to visit all seven continents including some memorable times canoeing down the Zambezi River in Africa, hiking through villages in the mountains of Vietnam, visiting Shackleton’s grave on South Georgia Island, trekking to the mountain gorillas in Uganda for his honeymoon, and of course watching the Yankees fall unceremoniously to the Red Sox from a remote New Zealand bar in 2004.
When he’s home in Boulder he spends time with his wife Kath and their little boy Gus, and he still manages to get out on the bike trails and golf course from time to time.
