Jo SlotmanAdventure Specialist
Growing up in Madison, Wisconsin, Jo spent summers on the water with her family waterskiing, tubing and camping, while winters meant ski trips to local hills. She brought her love of the outdoors and adventure to the University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh, opting to spend semesters abroad in Cambridge, England, and Salamanca, Spain. When she graduated with a degree in business, and despite her home state love for the Badgers and the Packers, she moved to Denver to start her career.
After several years in higher education, pharmaceutical sales, and account management, Jo heard the siren song of adventure and changed everything. Packing all that she might need into a backpack, she embarked on an around the world journey, determined to work in the communities she visited and make meaningful connections. Her travels took her to Thailand, New Zealand, Australia, Myanmar, China, Portugal, the United Kingdom and more. Work stints included working at a Balinese dive shop and exploring underwater shipwrecks to conditioning 17 thoroughbred horses for a New Zealand polo team.
Settling in Denver upon her return, Jo began working in the travel industry, hoping to share her knowledge and insight with fellow travelers. She’s thrilled to have a career that not only supports her adventurous life but also inspires others to also experience the life changing impacts of travel.
