Jessica grew up in Athens, Georgia where she played playing softball and basketball throughout her childhood. When her family found spare time in between sports events, they were always seeking outdoor adventures. Summertime consisted of long days on the lake and camping in the North Georgia mountains. Winter brought the pursuit of skiing in Colorado or finding somewhere tropical to scuba dive.

Jessica attended college at the University of Kentucky. During her time as a student, she studied abroad twice, spending a summer in Fiji and a semester voyage with the Semester at Sea program visiting 12 countries. These international experiences ignited her passion for travel. After college, she went backpacking around Europe for a summer with her two best friends. Today she still maintains a goal she set years ago, to never let her age exceed the number of countries she has been to. After college, Jessica moved to Denver where she has lived since 2015. With a background in accounting focused on auditing and consulting, she is well prepared to serve as Nat Hab's Controller, and she is thrilled to have found a workplace setting where her accounting education and experience intersects with her enthusiasm for discovering the world.
