Born and raised in Colorado, Will’s thirst for adventure began at an early age, galvanized by a childhood trip to the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem where he caught his first fish, saw his first grizzly bear and began a lifelong journey to visit every U.S. national park. That yearning to travel continued into adulthood, where he had the opportunity to study abroad in Madrid, and travel to Portugal, Italy, Germany, France and England.

After graduating with a degree in journalism from the University of Northern Colorado, Will pivoted to a slightly more reliably predictable career. He switched his focus and discovered he had an aptitude for sales. With every new company, he inched ever closer to a role that highlighted his best skills and aligned with his life goals of helping others and protecting the natural world that he loves.

He leapt at the opportunity to join Nat Hab after admiring the company for years for its incredible trips and dedication to conservation and preservation of wild places. Will recently visited Churchill, Manitoba, with Nat Hab to witness polar bears awaiting the formation of sea ice. In a single day, he saw mothers with their cubs and yearlings, sparring males, and even polar bears placing their massive paws on the Polar Rover.
