Jessica grew up in Massachusetts, and after spending her childhood as a competitive ice skater, she left the Boston area in search of adventure (and better weather), ending up in North Carolina for college. After graduating with a degree in psychology, she moved to Southern California to work in postsecondary administration and student affairs, first at Caltech and then at the University of Southern California. During the 10 years she lived in the Los Angeles area, she got to know the natural beauty of the area and fell in love with hiking and running.

In 2017, Jessica and her husband took an extended honeymoon and traipsed around the globe for three months, visiting nine countries while traveling only with carry-on bags. The epic journey stoked a new passion for adventure travel, and Jessica knew she had to pursue work in the travel industry. Once she returned to the U.S., Jessica and her husband settled on Colorado as their new home, and she has been exploring Boulder and the Rocky Mountains ever since. She landed a job as a travel agent at a small agency in Denver, arranging trips all over the world for her clients, and now she has taken her interest in adventure travel to the next level with Nat Hab. Jessica lives with her husband and three children in Superior, just outside Boulder. In her spare time, you'll find her baking desserts and pursuing another form of adventure: flying through the air as an aerial silks artist.
