Know Before You Go
Expedition Dining | Haida Gwaii
Natural Habitat Adventures sources sustainable food whenever possible. We do this by considering food sourcing, fair labor and ethical harvest, and actively making choices on the most sustainable options for meals. In addition to monitoring current regulations and recommendations, we proactively seek out new opportunities in the world of food sustainability.
All meals from dinner on Day 1 to lunch on the final day are included in the cost of your trip. While on the boat, most meals will be served buffet style. As with all of our adventures, vegetarian and other reasonable special dietary needs can be accommodated, on most occasions, if ample notice is given prior to departure.
Milk, juice, coffee, tea and drinking water will be available onboard the boat. In addition, a modest amount of wine will be served during dinner.
A special lunch is in store at Keenawaii's Kitchen at Haida Heritage Center, hosted by local Haida elder Roberta Olsen. Roberta crafts beautifully plated courses that showcase traditional Haida foods and the seasonal abundance of Haida Gwaii.
