Cre BurfordField Operation Specialist
Cre was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska, where exploring the outdoors wasn’t just a pastime but a way of life. Weekends were spent camping, fishing, hiking and snowboarding—activities that fueled a lifelong passion for adventure. A childhood Christmas gift of snowboarding gear cemented Cre’s love for the mountains, a passion that would shape future travels.
In 2012, Cre’s journey took a detour to Mesa, Arizona, when family needs required a move to warmer weather. Though leaving behind lifelong friends was bittersweet, the road trip south became an adventure, sparking a desire to see more of the world. That wanderlust only grew stronger after high school, and Cre answered its call by moving to Hawaii before returning to Alaska and embracing a nomadic lifestyle through seasonal work.
From Keystone, Colorado, to rail-based travel with Princess Holland America, Cre seized every opportunity to explore, working in stunning landscapes across the U.S. But it wasn’t just the scenery that inspired him—it was the people. Cre thrives on sharing the natural world with others, believing that the best guides not only offer expert knowledge but also create personal, unforgettable connections.
Combining her love of nature, travel, and people, Cre brings energy, enthusiasm and a deep appreciation for exploring wild places, helping travelers experience nature in a way that sparks awe and curiosity.
