Costa Rica Weather & Climate
Costa Rica is located in the middle of Central America and borders both the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. Temperatures are generally higher on the Pacific side than on the Caribbean at the same elevation (there are more clouds on the Caribbean side year-round than on the Pacific). At sea level on either side, the annual average temperature is always above 75°F.
The weather pages below are specific to Nat Hab's different Costa Rica itineraries. Natural Jewels of Costa Rica explores three of the country's most popular national parks, while Costa Rica Wilderness Explorer takes travelers to lesser-known nature reserves and wild realms.
