Croatia & Slovenia Weather & Climate
In the summer months, weather on the coast of Croatia is generally warm with temperatures in the day ranging from 60°F to 90°F. Water temperatures can vary but generally hover around 70°F to 75°F, which is chilly, but not freezing. Inland, around the Dinaric Alps, and in the part of Slovenia we will visit, the climate is more continental, with warm days and occasional afternoon thunderstorms. Evening temperatures may be cool throughout our journey; bring a warm sweater or fleece for after the sun goes down. There is always the possibility of heavy wind and rain showers, so make sure you have warm clothes and a waterproof and windproof jacket.
