Agra & the Taj Mahal

As this is an optional extension, group size may vary, but is limited to 11 travelers.

Accommodations, services of Nat Hab's professional Expedition Leader, local guide and driver, all meals from dinner on Day 1 through lunch on final day, most gratuities, still camera fees, airport transfer on final day, all activities and entrance fees, all taxes, permits and service fees.

Alcoholic beverages, items of a personal nature (phone calls, laundry and internet, etc.), fees for video cameras at the Taj Mahal monument and some gratuities.

Easy
This extension does not require a high degree of physical fitness, although travelers must be able to walk unassisted (without the use of walking aids) at a steady pace for two miles over uneven terrain, as well as climb multiple stairs at the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. This extension also involves long drives (5+ hours).

On this extension, our primary focus is visiting India’s famous cultural monuments—this is not a nature-based experience.

On the final day of your Grand India Wildlife Adventure, you will transfer back to Delhi to spend the night, which is "Day 1" of your extension. You will then spend one night in Agra, then drive back to Delhi where an overnight room has been reserved for you, since most departing flights to North America leave very late at night or early the next day. You are free to schedule your departing flight any time after 7 pm on the final day of the extension.
