Illness Information
As you consider traveling with us, we invite you to review the policies we've put in place to support your health and peace of mind:
1) Revised booking policies
Should illness impair your ability to travel with us, your deposit (and any travel insurance you purchased) is 100% transferable to another departure until your final balance is due. However, different terms apply to our Gorilla Safaris, India Tiger Safaris, Bhutan & Nepal, and any Lindblad-operated trips booked through Natural Habitat Adventures. Different terms may also apply to private trips, custom trips or extensions. Check with us for specifics.
2) No more forced single supplement fees
We've gotten rid of forced single supplement fees, permanently! On all scheduled trips, if you elect for us to assign you a roommate and we cannot find a match with another suitable traveler, you will not be charged any portion of the single fee.
3) Illness protocols
While exact illness protocols are shifting based on ever-changing guidance, we continue to follow protocols based on guidance from the CDC and World Health Organiztion. Please click here to review our answers to common FAQs regarding illness before or during your trip.
4) Small groups
We're already known for the smallest groups in the industry. Our compact group size naturally limits the number of people you're in contact with, and our average group size is just 10 travelers.
5) Remote destinations away from crowds
Far-flung wild places have been our specialty since Nat Hab was founded in 1985. We've always known the best adventures happen where wildlife is our nearest neighbor. Most of our trips inherently reduce your exposure to crowds of people, and therefore to communicable diseases.
6) Make It Private
Our Make It Private option allows you to enjoy any of our expertly crafted itineraries exclusively with your hand-selected group of friends or family members.
