This is only the second Nat Hab trip I have taken but it seems as if you pay special attention to getting the very best guides possible. I cannot say enough good things about Roberto and Veronica. As most of the walks I took were led by Roberto I have more exposure to his knowledge and I simply could not believe the extent to which he understood, and was able to explain, the vulcanology, botany, biology, and natural and human history of the Galapagos - and being able to gain these kinds of understanding are one of the fundamental reasons for taking a trip of this nature. THIS WAS THE BEST TRIP OF MY LIFE - IT WAS EVEN BETTER THAN THE AFRICAN SAFARI I TOOK 10 YEARS AGO. I never, ever thought it would be possible to have a better, more enriching, life affirming wildlife adventure to surpass my experience in Africa ... I was sooooooo wrong ..... and I'm glad I was. "I enjoyed everything. I tend to have high expectations and this trip exceeded those by far. I have wanted to visit the Galapagos for years and this was an incredible experience. The variety of animals and the fact that you can get so close was fantastic. It was terrific to have 2 guides, and both were impressive. To have that much enthusiasm and customer service and patience and warmth after leading tours over many years is impressive. I can't say a negative thing. I was incredibly scared to snorkel but really wanted to try it and with their support and guidance I deep water snorkeled - twice!! Their knowledge is expansive and they communicated easily. Yes, and their patience is great. You could tell they really enjoy what they do and love their country and the animals. That made the trip much more personal and attentive to detail."
