Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup white chocolate chips
- 6 large marshmallows
- 1 cup finely shredded coconut
- 6 chocolate sandwich cookies like Oreos. Chocolate-covered Oreos look great too!
- 6 whole cashews
- Black decorating gel icing (the kind in a squeeze tube)
- A toothpick
- Optional: 12 mini chocolate chips for the eyes
-
Melt chocolate
Melt the white chocolate in the microwave.
-
Coat marshmallow
Coat each marshmallow in the melted white chocolate.
-
Roll the marshmallow
Roll the coated marshmallows in the shredded coconut, leaving one end of each marshmallow uncovered.
-
Place on sandwich cookie
Place each marshmallow on a chocolate sandwich cookie, with the uncoated side up, and let the chocolate set.
-
Make a hole
Make a hole in the middle of the side of each marshmallow with a toothpick and insert a cashew for the beak.
-
Add eyes
Draw two eyes on your eagles with decorator gel. Note: Here you can use the mini chocolate chips as eyes if you don’t want to use decorator gel. Or, use the chocolate chips as eyes and draw on eyebrows with the decorator gel.
