We are thrilled to announce that NHA Expedition Leader Thuto Moutloatse was just named one of the Seven Best Guides on the Planet in Outside Magazine’s 2014 Travel Awards! He won top honors for Best Safari Guide, and we couldn’t be more excited for him.
Moutloats has been leading Botswana safaris with Nat Hab since 2007. He grew up in Botswana, and his love for wildlife and nature started at a young age, as his father was also a leader in conservation tourism. He followed in his father’s footsteps and became a safari naturalist guide shortly after he finished his degree at Treverton College in the mountains of neighboring South Africa.
He soon became an integral member of the team, and is one of the most frequently requested guides by Nat Hab’s repeat guests. Moutloatse is also a talented photographer, guiding photography tours throughout southern Africa in addition to leading safaris in Botswana.
Our clients always share rave reviews upon returning from a trip with Moutloatse. Here’s one of our favorites
“Thuto made this expedition a trip of a lifetime for us with his winning personality, knowledge of the wildlife and fauna and professionalism as a guide. We were often around formidable wildlife – huge elephants, lions, leopards etc., however, I don’t think anyone in our groups was seriously concerned about our safety because we had confidence that Thuto was in control.” – R. Everyone at Natural Habitat Adventures extends a hearty congratulations to you, Thuto!
