We are proud to announce that Natural Habitat Adventures has been named to Outside Magazine’s “Best Places to Work” list for the sixth year in a row. The list is comprised of companies that “best enable employees to pursue active lifestyles while also supporting their social and environmental contributions,” according to Outside Magazine.
We are fortunate to get to travel the world regularly for work, gaining inspiration from the most incredible landscapes and wildlife nature has to offer. At Nat Hab, part of our professional development comes in the form of visiting Nat Hab’s exotic destinations, whether it’s snorkeling in the Galapagos Islands or tracking wild tigers in India. It’s hard work, but somebody’s got to do it!
We also pride ourselves in a healthy work hard/play hard philosophy – while we stay motivated in the office with company happy hours and Friday afternoon kegs, we stay healthy with free yoga classes and a company gym. We even have a company boat on the Boulder Reservoir that employees are urged to borrow on the weekends!
Let’s hear from some of the Boulder, CO staff about why Nat Hab is one of the best companies to work for:
Megan Bryant
Africa Adventure Director & Developer
“I was really proud to join the team because it’s such an admirable company, for so many reasons: from the consciousness towards preserving the natural world and wildlife in it, to the sharing of that philosophy with a loyal and like-minded group of clients. It’s something to believe in, something that matters well beyond chocolates on the pillow and client evaluations. We are having fun and changing the world. I have total faith in that.”
Holly Glessner
Air Travel Specialist
“One of the biggest reasons I love my job is because I realize how important it is to get people traveling. How can we really appreciate the world, its environment, and its creatures if we don’t get out there to see it for ourselves first hand? I truly believe the only way to bring about peace, necessary changes to our environment and the protection of our endangered species is to get as many people off their couch and into the world around them as possible.”
Wendy Klausner
Senior Adventure Specialist
“I have been here for 17 years and can’t imagine a better place to work. I speak with guests planning their dream trips, what more can you ask for. Our staff is great, everyone is dedicated, but knows how to make the most of each and every day. This clearly translates to our trips as they are amazing.”
Ben Bressler
Nat Hab Founder & President
“I love working at Nat Hab because our staff love working at Nat Hab. So, for me, to see the smiling faces of the incredibly-hard-working staff on a daily basis brings me great joy!”
