Born in India, raised in Oman and now calling the United States of America home, Ruksana’s love for travel and curiosity about nature took shape at an early age. Her interest in words and language ensures she shares her experiences in several print and online publications, earning recognition for her journalistic work from press clubs and other industry organizations.

As a freelance journalist and writer, Ruksana takes advantage of travel to any part of the world, especially destinations with a strong focus on nature conservation, wildlife preservation and protection of endangered species. Her travels have included experiences in the Yukon Territory in Canada, Malaysia and Japan, Sweden and Poland, Rwanda and Tanzania, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic, and several states across the U.S. and India.
