We've chosen our accommodations to get as close as we can to the wildlife and scenery of Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks. Some properties have more amenities than others, but all are clean and comfortable with en suite bathroom facilities. Most have a western theme, befitting their location. A highlight of this trip is the private snowcoaches we charter during certain portions of our itinerary. These vehicles enable us to plan our itinerary around optimal wildlife viewing locations, permitting us to stop and watch animals as they appear, at a leisurely pace. Via the snowcoaches, we are also able to include a night at Old Faithful Snow Lodge, which is inaccessible by road during the winter. Recently constructed yet evoking the classic Old West in ambience, the Snow Lodge provides outstanding proximity to the park's more remote areas for winter travelers. In Jackson, Western luxury prevails at the Lexington Hotel. In Bozeman, the GranTree Inn offers comfort and convenience. And in Cooke City, the Alpine Motel offers simple yet immaculate rooms on the quiet northeast corner of Yellowstone National Park.
