The Palms Cliff House Inn is an 8-room boutique bed & breakfast inn that offers many of the amenities available at large resorts while maintaining the feel and spirit of Aloha reminiscent of Old Hawaii. Built in 2000, the inn recently underwent an $80,000 renovation that further enhance its design and amenities to make it one of East Hawaii's premier accommodations. The inn overlooks Pohakumanu Bay, where the graceful koa'e kea bird (also known as the white-tailed tropicbird) is frequently gliding in the trade winds overhead. All eight suites have an ocean view and sit 40 feet from the cliff's edge above Pohakumanu Bay. Each has a private entrance, lanai, gas fireplace, king-size bed and lavish bath with oversize marble shower and in-room oversize two-person Jacuzzi whirlpool tub with an ocean view.
