Opened in summer 2024, this new luxury retreat, accessible only by boat from Homer Harbor, enjoys an extraordinary private setting overlooking both Kachemak Bay and China Poot Bay where guests feel at one with their wild surroundings. Backdropped by snowcapped peaks, the property's well-maintained network of trails through wild berry bushes lead to pebble beaches, where guests may search for marine life like whales and sea otters and explore the shoreline at low tide. Birdlife abounds in the lush forest; woodland creatures chatter and bears live nearby. Observe it all from outdoor decks or through the enormous windows in shared areas and all guest suites.

Odyssey Lodge offers two types of private accommodations. Bay View Cabins have large windows, an exterior deck (offering frequent views of bald eagles), queen bed, en suite bathroom with walk-in shower, and a cozy sitting area. Treetop Suites provide a more secluded stay among the trees and feature a private bedroom and separate living room and bathroom. The lodge’s common spaces include a rustic lounge with expansive windows, and an indoor fitness and relaxation center with a workout room, spa, jacuzzi, and cedar sauna with a panoramic ocean view. Enjoy fresh local seafood and other gourmet offerings, plus a full bar, in the on-site Meandering Goat restaurant that’s already become a favorite among Homer locals.
