National Geographic Endeavour
Location
Galapagos Islands, Ecuador
The Endeavour is a world-class expedition ship designed to comfortably transport guests between the Galapagos Islands in contemporary style. Discovery abounds aboard this vessel, which carries a glass-bottom boat and video microscope to reveal the ocean world below. With one of the largest staffs of Galapagos naturalists in the islands, this expansive ship offers extensive open deck space where the entire expedition community can share in spontaneous whale watching or sunset cocktails.
This 96-guest ship provides 56 cabins (including two suites) that feature a window or porthole so you can gaze upon the islets and islands as we sail past. The welcoming and contemporary cabins include two single beds (some of which convert into a queen-size bed), organic cotton duvets, crisp cotton sheets, a chair and writing desk, under-bed storage space and spacious closets; while the suites boast a sofa bed, large windows and one or two large lounge chairs in a separate seating area. The Endeavour’s vivacious dining room serves international cuisine with an Ecuadorian flair, while a large lounge acts as a casual gathering place where guests can share photos and stories. The ship also provides plenty of active exploration equipment for all guests to enjoy, including snorkeling gear, wetsuits, and a fleet of Zodiacs and kayaks.
