Kitimat overlooks the rain forest-blanketed mountains, while nearby Giant Spruce Park holds the largest living Sitka spruce tree in British Columbia. MStar’s 42 guest rooms feature clean-lined, modern decor in neutral tones, and amenities include a 42-inch flat screen TV, high-speed Wi-Fi, MP3/iPhone dock, writing desk, Keurig coffee machine, mini-fridge and microwave. Guests enjoy complimentary snacks and beverages, with free tasting in the lobby each evening. Dedicated to eco-friendly practices and community support, MStar Hotel donates used linens and soaps to local shelters and the Humane Society while striving to operate 90% paperless, using e-services as much as possible for internal messages and guest receipts.
