Located near the famous lake itself and just a 5-minute walk from Lake Louise Village, Lake Louise Inn offers coveted lodgings with mountain rustic ambience. We stay in the newly renovated Summit Deluxe rooms. Spacious with 250+ square feet and two queen beds, the rooms have a padded armchair and writing desk, four-piece bathroom with hair dryer, high-speed wireless Internet, flat screen TV, telephone, clock radio, in-room safe, mini fridge and coffee maker. Given the inn's mountain setting at altitude, rooms do not have air conditioning—the natural breeze and cool night temperatures generally ensure comfort. A welcoming lobby lounge offers cushy seating in large leather chairs around a soaring rock fireplace, with tall floor-to-ceiling windows that showcase the forest and peaks beyond. Three dining facilities are on site—Legends Restaurant, Timberwolf Pizza and Pasta, and the Explorers Lounge, which offers casual pub fare in a  recreational space with billiards, foosball, air hockey and board games on offer. Outdoors, gather under a timber frame shelter around the fire pit in the Great Canadian Gazebo and enjoy s'mores over the campfire. The indoor heated pool and whirlpools have been recently renovated, with floor-to-ceiling windows that look out on stunning views of the Canadian Rockies. The fitness center is open 24 hours a day, and free bicycle rentals are available in summer. Self-serve laundry facilities are on the premises.
