The Villa Mandarine is one of the most gracious accommodations in Rabat. Originally a private home, it has been converted into an exclusive boutique hotel with 36 individually decorated rooms. Interiors still feature family heirlooms and exquisite architectural elements such as glazed Taddelakt, Zellige mosaics, Beijmat tiles and fine artworks. Many French windows let in abundant light and views of lush gardens, jasmine trees and orange groves that surround the hotel and perfume the air. Rooms are situated around the fountain courtyard and rose gardens. Each has a private terrace, secluded by lush vegetation, for breakfast with a view. The original house features more terraces draped in bougainvillea and overlooking the gardens, as well as a spacious living room, bar and billiard room. The spa offers massage, a steam room, fitness center, hot tub and traditional beauty products made from prized Moroccan argan oil.
