Originally built between 1894 and 1917 as Cuba’s first European style shopping arcade that covers an entire block, Gran Hotel Manzana Kempinski sits in the heart of the old Havana’s World Heritage Sites, with direct views toward the Capitol and the Great Theatre of Havana. Extensive renovations make this Cuba's first 5-star hotel as it opens in 2017. The property exudes elegance with 246 spacious rooms that feature sky-high ceilings and French windows and doors that open out into the historic city. Bright and light spaces are filled with modern lighting and contemporary furnishings that contrast with the distinct historic and luxurious character of the architecture.

Splashes of purple create an elegant contrast to cool whites and greys throughout the spaces. En suite bathrooms have a separate toilet and bathtub with separate shower. Rooms have a safe, flat screen TV, coffee and tea service, and a writing desk, and Wi-Fi is available. A variety of restaurants and social areas can be found within the hotel, including a cigar lounge and a rooftop infinity pool and bar with spectacular views.
