Our exclusive Galapagos Safari Camp is reminiscent of the African tradition in which guests enjoy total comfort under canvas surrounded by nature. Bordering Galapagos National Park in the highlands of Santa Cruz, this luxury tented eco-camp sits along a ridge with sweeping views of the ocean and seven other islands. Erected above ground on wooden platforms, the nine spacious tents include custom-made furniture, two twin beds that can be joined to create a queen, en suite baths with hot showers and flush toilets, and a fan/heater for temperature control. Each tent has a large veranda with a hammock and chairs from which to enjoy the magnificent view. Public spaces include an expansive lounge with fireplace and a dining room serving local and international dishes featuring fresh produce grown on site. Take a stroll around the surrounding 136-acre farm to listen for finches, warblers, mockingbirds, owls and Galapagos doves, and look for white egrets. Relax with a dip in the infinity pool. And be sure to keep an eye out for wild tortoises sauntering through the grounds!
