There’s no more exhilarating way to discover the islands of the Dalmatian Coast than aboard a romantic sailboat. Fortuna, an elegant 108-foot mahogany motorsailer yacht, is our base for kayaking and island hopping in Croatia. This classic Mediterranean gulet with gleaming teak deck is family-owned and operated and finely appointed with every comfort. Fortuna hosts a maximum of 12 Nat Hab guests in seven en suite cabins: four cabins have double beds and three have twins. Each has en suite bathroom facilities and is appointed with nautical blue and white decor and teak fittings. The vessel’s interior is air-conditioned 24 hours a day. Fortuna's sails are fully functional, and guests can give the professional crew a hand while sailing the blue Adriatic—or just relax on deck, enjoying the sound of the wind in the sheets, sans the drone of an engine. Sunbathe on the bow mattresses or in the lounge sitting area. On the stern is a shaded al fresco dining area where fresh Mediterranean cuisine is served, prepared by Fortuna’s talented chef—or opt to dine in the airy interior, where large glass windows ensure you don’t miss a bit of the passing scenery.
