In the heart of the Daintree, Ferntree Rainforest Lodge is ideally located for exploring the world's most ancient rain forest. A mix of cabins and lofts are tucked into dense forest, surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. We stay in elevated Garden Lofts that reflect the tropical theme, incorporating warm hardwoods and simple, clean-lined furnishings including king-size platform beds dressed in crisp white linens, as well as two separate twin beds in the loft accessed by a ladder. Spacious en suite baths have a tropical wood vanity and an open walk-in shower. Rooms have eco-efficient air conditioning, ceiling fan, fridge, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. Generous windows and private decks make you feel one with nature, surrounded by the sounds of the rain forest. The Cassowary Restaurant features a locally sourced menu served in a Balinese-style open-air structure with soaring beamed ceilings. The entire setting is quite magical—the perfect complement to our rain forest adventures.
