Delfin I
Accommodating just eight guests in four oversized suites, the recently refurbished Delfin I offers a luxurious and highly personalized expedition cruise adventure in some of the world's most remote tropical wilderness. The attention to detail from the ship's exceptional crew caters to even the most experienced explorers seeking a classic boutique shipboard experience replete with authentic hospitality.
All cabins have en suite bathrooms and private panoramic terraces; two have a private whirlpool for the ultimate treat. Floor-to-ceiling windows allow nature to be part of the décor, with a full view of the passing riverbank and rain forest. Cabin service three times a day ensures the most personalized service possible. Shared spaces include the dining room where guests enjoy an unrivaled level of sophistication, with fine Peruvian cuisine featuring an abundance of local natural products. Three-course meals reflect the country’s cultural diversity, especially with the Amazon’s available wild, fresh ingredients incorporating regional and immigrant traditions. Private dining in your own suite is also available. On the top deck, a lounge area, bar and entertainment center offer inviting places to relax as the jungle unfolds in front of you.
Most of the ship's staff guides were born and raised in the rain forest throughout the Peruvian Amazon. Now, they are proud to share their knowledge and passion with travelers. To further their knowledge, many of the guides also participate in training sessions and projects with Peruvian and North American professors, researchers, and scientists involved with the study and conservation of the Amazon. And, guests will discover the guides also have delightful musical talents to share. The vessel also features artwork by the women of the Puerto Miguel community, and when Delfin I guests purchase their beautiful work, they help provide the children of this community with school supplies.
