Situated on the outskirts of Imlil village near the river, looking up to the 13,671-foot summit of Mt. Toubkal, Dar Imlil is a luxury guesthouse in the heart of the High Atlas Mountains and its Berber village culture. The atmosphere is that of a stately Moroccan home, with classic décor such as handwoven carpets and mosaic tile floors. Each guestroom is a quiet private retreat, and all have heating, air conditioning, en suite bathrooms, DVD and MP3 players and safe deposit boxes. Comfortable beds keep guests warm at night with natural fiber bedding including alpaca wool fiber blankets, sheep wool comforters and 100% cotton sheets. The inn’s restaurant serves Moroccan and continental dishes, either inside on colorful banquettes by the fireplace, or on the expansive terrace outdoors with panoramic views of the mountains and surrounding Berber villages.
