Bugaboo Lodge
Location
Bugaboo Provincial Park, British Columbia, Canada
Bugaboo Lodge is the original wilderness heli-skiing outpost located nearly 5,000 feet high in the fabled Bugaboos Range. Today it offers access to summer hikers as well, with helicopter flights into neighboring alpine meadows and valleys in view of some of the grandest alpine scenery on Earth. The 32-room lodge blends contemporary stylings with rustic natural materials to create a warm and comfortable base from which to explore the raw mountain terrain beyond. The main lounge invites relaxing on big leather sofas in front of an artistically designed stone fireplace. From the dining room, expansive outdoor terrace and hot tub, survey the jagged Bugaboo Spires clad in glacial ice. When you're not out hiking, enjoy lodge amenities including a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, massage therapy and games room. A climbing wall, protected via ferrata iron-rung climbing route, and a zip line are also available for guests who crave some extra thrills.
