WEBINAR | Inside Our Women in the Wild Adventures
Wonder what it’s like to experience wild nature amid the camaraderie of an all-women group? Our guests on these popular adventures often tell us they feel more comfortable in an all-women setting, especially when it comes to trying new things—from snowshoeing to kayaking with belugas to camping in brown bear territory. Expedition Leaders Judy Wilson and Jessica Morgan discuss our empowering Women in the Wild trips and the positive impact they have on our travelers. Not only are these adventures women-only and women-led, but the itineraries have a special focus on the contributions of women in the destinations we visit.
WEBINAR | Explore Glacier & Waterton National Parks
Experience two iconic national parks on a cross-border adventure through Glacier and Waterton Lakes. The subalpine forests, wildflower meadows and rocky ramparts are home to grizzly bear, moose, mountain goat, elk and more. Expedition Leader Jake Richards offers a sneak peek at our itinerary—including an open-top bus tour of Going-to-the-Sun Road, a scenic float on the Flathead River, nature hikes and boat cruises—and a preview of our deluxe accommodations, including coveted stays in historic park lodges like Many Glacier Hotel.
WEBINAR | Get to Know the Grizzly Bears of the Canadian Rockies
With its large grizzly population and millions of visitors, the potential for human-bear conflict in the Canadian Rockies is high. But wildlife managers are committed to helping bears and people peacefully co-exist. Expedition Leader Lianne Thompson introduces a few of the region’s famous grizzlies (including “The Boss,” “Split Lip” and “Nakoda”) and explains the measures its national parks have taken to protect both bears and people, from bear-proof garbage cans to bear "re-education programs" to wildlife crossings linking habitat bisected by busy roads.
