Let’s Go: Discover Churchill’s Polar Bears This Fall
As Canada reopens its borders to American travelers, many of us nature lovers have our sights set on Churchill, Manitoba—the Polar Bear Capital of the World. This fall, hundreds of polar bears will make their annual migration to the shores of Hudson Bay, waiting for the sea ice to form so that they can begin their winter seal-hunting season. And we will be there to observe them in their tundra habitat from the safety of our specialty Polar Rover vehicles. Although its been more than two decades since veteran Expedition Leader Annie Van Dinther first began leading trips to view Churchill’s polar bears, she’s always excited to return to this frontier town for the people, landscape, culture and thrill of spotting a wild polar bear! Annie will explain why there’s no better place on the planet to witness the King of the Arctic in its native habitat, and why there’s no better time to time do so than this October or November. Join this webinar for an in-depth overview of all the wonders that await you as you take your place among the bears this autumn.
