Steve joined Natural Habitat in 1989 and has since traveled the world leading nature trips and training our Expedition Leaders in the finer aspects of ecotourism guiding. Before that, Steve worked for 15 years as a naturalist leader aboard whale watching ships in Massachusetts and as a teacher at the Audubon Schools in Maine. Well-known as a professional wildlife photographer, Steve’s work has appeared in National Geographic, International Wildlife, The New York Time calendars. Steve has now started his own nature tour company working with Natural Habitat to find new and unique destinations for specialized adventures. He is enthusiastic and fun-loving, making every day spent with him on a wildlife vacation an experience to remember.
