Matt Ware
When Matt realized he wanted to get back to his roots, he began working for the Falkland Islands government, both on location and at their embassy in London. Matt decided to become a guide after seeing the opportunities in the Falkland Islands and learning about the prestigious Blue Badge Professional Guide courses in the UK, which taught him how to professionally guide in The Cotswolds, Oxford, Bath, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Windsor, Stonehenge and London. Since qualifying after three years of studying, he has enjoyed leading groups across his beloved English countryside, as well as in towns and cities across England. He has also done some winter ski guiding in the European Alps. Guiding has been the most rewarding role of Matt's career, as he loves sharing the unspoiled, undiscovered and undercover areas of the English countryside, calling upon his rural agricultural and academic backgrounds for insight and inspiration. Matt is also a firm believer in giving back to the community; he is a committee member for the Association of Professional Tour Guides, and he has served as a reservist police sergeant in the Metropolitan Police in London since 2007. When he isn't guiding, Matt lives between London and Herefordshire, where he spends his time walking, cycling and running. You can follow Matt on Instagram at @UnderCoverEngland.
