Born in central Montreal, Anthony was raised in the concrete jungle until he was able to fly on his own. He spent his childhood summers escaping the city, thriving in the woods and lakes of southern Quebec. Those experiences nurtured a passion for the natural world, leading him to complete an undergraduate degree in ecology. Since then, Anthony has been played a role in preserving some of Canada's most distinguished species, including wolves and whales. He has also spent many years utilizing his experience as a wildlife biologist to conserve some of the country's lesser-known species of turtles and snakes. Currently, he sits on the board of directors for Amphibian and Reptile Conservation Canada.
Anthony's curiosity has led him to different corners of the globe, including Central America, Africa, the Middle East and New Zealand, where he lived for a short stint. At home or abroad, you can usually find him on an adventure, whether it's trekking through wetlands, climbing a rock face, or hiking up a mountain. Anthony also has a soft spot for water sports—he has worked as a whitewater rafting guide, led canoe research expeditions and organized sea kayaking expeditions. Through all these experiences, Anthony strives to connect with nature and learn from it. As a Nat Hab Expedition Leader for polar bear season in Manitoba, he hopes to share his insights and instill a passion for wildlife conservation while helping travelers make priceless memories.
Anthony was outstanding. His knowledge of the area, people and wildlife was exceptional. Furthermore, his disposition was so positive— always happy and humorous! He kept everyone entertained and always polled the group regarding next stop and options for alternatives. I think he’s found his calling!

We all LOVED Anthony! His infectious, genuine, beautiful personality was the beginning of a great bond between 15 people, many of whom were meeting for the first time. We enjoyed his passion for and knowledge of the area, and I enjoyed watching him spend time with each and every one of us, getting to know who we are, as well.

Anthony was great! Good natured, flexible, patient, and knowledgable. He conveyed passion for Churchill, its people and the lights. He was also really helpful with photography!
