Airport transfer upon arrival, one night's accommodation, tours as specified, breakfast and lunch, all entry fees, $50 elephant adoption fee per every two guests, and services of a local driver/guide.
Not Included
Travel to and from Nairobi, alcoholic beverages, gratuities, passport and visa fees, optional activities, items of a personal nature (phone calls, souvenirs, etc.), airline baggage fees, airport and departure taxes, optional travel insurance, and required medical evacuation insurance.
Physical Requirements
Easy
The Extra Day in Nairobi does not require a high degree of physical fitness, but does involve walking on both smooth surfaces and cobblestones as well as climbing a few stairs. Travelers should be prepared to be out for most of the day and on their feet for a few hours at a time with opportunities to sit in between. Physical activities include easy museum and experiential walking tours that combined will last several hours. Travelers will be taking frequent breaks as they traverse town by vehicle, but they should be prepared to stand for a length of time at each stop along the itinerary. Nairobi is at an elevation of approximately 5,300 feet above sea level, just over a mile high.

Getting There & Getting Home
Participants in this pre-trip extension should arrive in Nairobi at any time one day prior to Day 1 of your safari. The extension program will end in time for the Welcome Dinner on Day 1 of your safari adventure.
