“It was one of those magical safari moments at sundown in a very large clearing. We sat there for about an hour as elephants, giraffes, buffalo and antelope started to migrate to their resting places for the night.
“We were about 50 feet from them. Notice how vigilant the dominant elephant is in our presence…a clear signal to keep a respectful distance. And note how the baby elephant is holding onto the tail of the female in front of it in order to keep up!”
