Posada Rancho Cerro Largo enjoys a truly spectacular location atop a bluff with sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean. This simple, hospitable ecolodge features rustic yet comfortable accommodations in individual thatched casitas. Constructed with local materials in a highly sustainable manner, the spacious casitas are perched on a cliff overlooking the sea and open to the ocean breeze, with the sound of the surf below close enough to lull you to sleep at night. Ceiling fans are also provided for cooling. Each casita has a detached private bath with dry cedar-chip toilet and bucket shower. Shaded hammocks offer a tranquil spot to relax, while seating on various terraces and overlooks provides additional panoramas of the ocean and coastline. The beach below is accessible via a steep and uneven footpath. Locally sourced and home-cooked meals are served in the dining room, including excellent home-baked bread and granola.
