Cedar Creek Lodge
Columbia Falls, Montana
Located just outside the western boundary of Glacier National Park in the small hub of Columbia Falls, this 64-room lodge, surrounded by cedars and ponderosa pines, opened in 2016. Infusing the spirit and historic character of the American West with contemporary style and sophistication, Cedar Creek Lodge is a boutique hotel that offers a classic Montana welcome. The exterior sets the scene, with cedar shingles, large tree trunk posts and an antler chandelier poised over the entry. A fieldstone fireplace in the lobby, slate floors, rustic wood accent furniture and plaid carpeting continue the ambience inside. Guest room decor, in a calm neutral palette, is both contemporary and evocative of the Old West at the same time. Rooms are large with comfortable high-end beds and cotton duvets, flat screen TVs, coffeemaker, refrigerator and western wildlife art on the walls. Guests can enjoy the pool, hot tub and fitness center as time permits. A deluxe hot breakfast is a highlight, featuring traditional favorites like egg dishes, bacon, waffles, fresh fruit and yogurt, along with locally inspired fare like huckleberry jam and coffee from Montana Coffee Traders.
